lessons learned

• when your sink hot water tap has a pilot light, keep the kitchen window open......even if it's f*&^%g cold out
• when, after washing your clothes in a washing machine, they get dried by a ceiling heat lamp, laundry and outings don't mix
• when lighting a gas stove, ensure that the match you strike is indeed strong enough to endure the action.....otherwise, you may burn the linoleum......
